InhaltAnnie Walker ist stolze Besitzerin eines Blumenladens in ihrem kleinen Heimatort Rome. Sie liebt ihre Heimat und möchte am liebsten für immer dort bleiben. Gerne hätte sie endlich einen festen Partner, der mir ihr ein gemeinsames Leben in Rome aufbauen möchte. Doch auch wenn Annie von allen als Sweetheart bezeichnet wird und vermutlich die freundlichste und hilfsbereiteste Person in ganz Rome ist, scheint das mit der Partnersuche nicht zu funktionieren. Vielleicht liegt es an ihr und ihrer Schüchternheit bei Männern? Das möchte Annie ändern und bittet daher den Bodyguard und Bad-Boy Will Griffin um Hilfe. Denn wenn sich einer mit Dates und Flirten auskennt, ist es definitiv er! Und aus irgendeinem Grund fällt es Annie ausgerechnet bei ihm leicht, sich zu öffnen.MeinungInsgesamt war es eine wirklich sehr süße Geschichte. Gleichzeitig war es jedoch nichts Besonderes. Das Buch war leider nicht immer spannend und vor allem von Misskommunikation oder viel eher fehlender Kommunikation zwischen den beiden Protagonisten geprägt. Da sich die Handlung meist immer wieder an dieser fehlenden Kommunikation aufhing, war es auf Dauer leider etwas anstrengend. Außerdem gab es meiner Meinung nach leider einige Szenen, in denen man sich ein bisschen für die Charaktere fremdschämen musste. Alle weiteren Figuren, die in Rome wohnen, waren im Gesamten jedoch eine willkommene lustige Abwechslung zum Rest der Handlung. Auch wenn deren Handlungen oftmals sehr übertrieben waren, war die Atmosphäre dieser Kleinstadt äußerst unterhaltsam.
