Having read only the very first Will Trent novel, and the short story preceding this 9th installment of the series, I thought I might have troubles getting into the story. I did have troubles, but it wasnt for all the names and their relationships and connections to Will (this is becoming pretty clear quickly) but for the way of throwing the reader into the story. There are several points of view telling the same event differently, with every jump in time and place providing a new piece of the puzzle. It took me a while to see what picture is printed on the box of this puzzle. But after about a third into the novel I was finally in the flow. I enjoyed reading about Sara and the IPA the most, even though these chapters are also the most gruesome. There are also longer parts where we cut back to Will or his colleagues, which were a little less exciting. Often they provided important background information on the IPA and all their connections, but it also slowed down the story for me a bit. I also liked the topic of this book, it is something that is fast becoming a big problem not only in the US but in Europe, too. I just hope that everyone reading the book realizes what trash Dash is talking! Also I didnt find his mission targets congruent with his ideology. ~~~~~~~~~~Attention: SPOILER! He preaches the glory of the white man, but then wants to randomly kill thousands of people, including lots of Whites? How should that help his cause or change anything for the future? But on the other hand, terrorist attacks normally are never logical. SPOILER END~~~~~~~~~~~~ A very interesting thriller with a red-hot topic. For fans of the Will Trent series definitely a must-read.
