So, nun bin ich endlich durch mit der Trilogie. Leider hat mir diese Reihe nicht so viel Vergnügen bereitet, wie die Crows. Mit Alina bin ich nicht so wirklich warm geworden, der Darkling....naja, war auch nicht so wichtig, ich mochte nicht, dass die Verstärker (fast) immer Tiere sind und detailreich beschrieben ihr Leben lassen müssen und es dümpelte teilweise halt so vor sich hin. Dafür, dass ja die Gefahr so groß ist, war die Gruppe eigentlich recht gemütlich unterwegs und plötzlich war das Finale da.Mit dem Ende bin ich eigentlich ganz zufrieden. Natürlich war das Buch aber auch keine Katastrophe, sonst hätte ich es garantiert abgebrochen. Noch immer gefällt mir Bardugos Schreibstil (in Englisch) wirklich gut, ich mochte (scheinbar im Gegensatz zu vielen) Mal gerne und auch Nikolai war ein Highlight der Bücher. Leider sogar so, dass ich mir jetzt überlegen muss, ob ich die King of Scars Bücher nicht auch noch lesen soll.Aber jetzt brauch ich erstmal eine Pause.

Nachdem ich von zweiten band so enttäuscht war dachte ich, dass dieser auch in die selbe Richtung geht, denn der Anfang versprach jetzt nicht so viel. Aber dann fing der plot an richtig interessant zu werden. Ich fand, dass die Handlungsstränge ganz gut beendet wurden. Kritik ist jedoch an den Nebencharakteren. Dafür dass sie so oft vorkommen wirken sie irgendwie immer noch sehr oberflächlich. Die Handlung hat mich aber ab der Hälfte richtig mitgenommen. Sie war voller action, voller Enthüllungen und im großen und Ganzen einfach spannend geschrieben. Ich finde aus der Reihe hätte man genauso gut eine Dilogie machen können und das zweite Buch einfach um einiges kürzen
