4 congenial elderly people living in a retirement village form a murder club to solve cold cases (which a friend of one of them had smuggled out when she retired from her job as a detective inspector). However, then a murder is comitted near their village and they try to solve this new case. Sometimes they know more than the police, sometimes less, but they manage to "force" the police to share their findings with them and often also share their own findings. The way they investigate and how they take advantage of their age is hilarious. There are several suspects, but as events unfold, new suspects emerge and former ones can be ruled out.Although the book is fun to read, I would have preferred a bit less intanglements. I nevertheless would like to read other books from that series.

Ein bisschen zäh, insbesondere am Anfang. Charmante Charaktere, interessante Wendungen. Unlösbar bis zum Schluss.
