So, listen.The idea of this book is amazing and how Marissa executed it too. It just wasn't my cup of tea at the moment that's why it's just 3/5 stars.BUT!This book is amazing in so many ways. I loved how she included some of the most famous lines for Alice in Wonderland lovers. (I did giggle and smile like an idiot at them some times but do not tell please xD)Also the authors note is by far the most amazing one l've read so far, and let me tell you I do this not so often because in most cases I sadly find it just unnecessary. But this one is just amazing, it explains so much and just gives the book some more character and understanding for those not familiar with Alice in wonderland and it's original and other amazing authors who are included in this book. (I mean who is more fitting for this than Edgar Allan Poe himself?!)All in all; I'm very glad I've decided to pick this book up after I told myself I wouldn't because it was beautiful, a master piece even.Marissa you've managed to throw a completely new perspective on a character, so that she actually seems almost pitiful and human, even though she really isn't. Or is she?I loved it very much because it was so logically executed. It will, from now on, be my only backstory to how the red Queen became who she is in the book and movie and so on!Thank you very much for this masterpiece (although I just gave it 3/5 stars just see it as a 5/5 haha!)
