This story is about Scarlett (Vandy), and Lukas is well written and only from Scarletts POV in the third person.
It's easy to follow even for non native English readers and even if there's a lot of talk about the divers and swimmers (they mostly have their own dictionary, or not?) it's easy to get along with their terms (the same questions we have are questioned by other characters in the book).
I like how much Scarlett evolved through the book and how calm and understanding Lukas is.
This book isn't only vanilla. It's getting hot around, and it has a significant amount in that area, but for further understanding, please consult the trigger warning at the beginning of the book.
What I can say is that the banter, the communication, and the spice are on the right level and make me understand both protagonists in a way I first was skeptical.
Conclusion
A book of high completion, drama, understanding, love, and spice in all the right amounts.
