Ash Harrier is an author of dark academia and mystery novels for adults and children. Ever since she was a child, she's been wondering what lies beyond . . . beyond the grave, behind the veil and beneath the ordinary. Her fascination sometimes tips over into fear, but more than anything, she has a feverish desire to know the truth. Ash often felt "quiet" and invisible, which is why she is slightly obsessed with writing about girls who seem mediocre or even withdrawn, but who have extraordinary secret talents. Ash also writes general (adult) fiction as Sasha Wasley and holds a PhD in feminist literature. Her books have been shortlisted for the WA Premier's, Readings, WAYBRA, SCBWI Golden Kite and Davitt Awards.
