Spin the Dawn

Another favorite this year. I'm a bit mad that it took me so long to even start this duology.(It also took me forever to finish the book cause reading with my eyeballs only is difficult at the moment.)BUT.I truly loved this book.I love the whole setting, the world is beautiful, and I love the story with all my heart, the trials were really well done, and later the quest to get everything for the three dresses. The magic is so interesting as well.Maia has saved her spot on my favorite characters list. She is incredible and seriously, all the feels with her and her family.And Edan. Slightly in love with him, not gonna lie.I love how their relationship evolved from "I can barely stand you but I tolerate you", to "it's nice having you around" to "I can't live without you". Which ended with me being absolutely heartbroken and emotionally destroyed at the end of the book.I want to finish one more book I'm currently reading before reading the 2nd book but it's gonna be hard, cause I need to know how all of this resolves. I'M STRESSED!!!!
