Hobbs Romano is bound and determined to not let history repeat itself. He's no stranger to loss, but when Anderson moves away and cuts him off like he's inconsequential, he can't do anything but remain hyper-focused on the next step in his plan. His best friend's little sister is way out of his league anyway. . . even if she's also his other half. Or at least he thought she was. Now she's moving home, knowing at some point she's going to have to face Hobbs and finally come to terms with what happened between them. Living through her fair share of hurt, she's determined to not let him back in. It's a great plan. That is until she receives devastating news, and Hobbs is the one who's there for her. . . just like he always was before. Is it possible that things weren't quite as they seemed?
