Slow Start mit Potenzial
Als erstes fällt mir zu diesem Buch nur ein: Der Schreibstil. Dieser Schreibstil!!! Der ist einfach mega. Man hat einfach jedes Gefühl der Protagonistin direkt vor Augen. Man ist komplett mitten drin. In ihrem Kopf. In ihren Gedanken. Sowas habe ich bisher noch nicht gelesen und liebe liebe liebe es.
Dennoch war ich etwas zwiegespalten. Denn da ist ja noch die Handlung. Es war okay? Irgendwie ein bisschen zu oberflächlich, zu schnell abgehandelt. Juliette ist eine mega interessante Protagonisten, aber Adam daneben war mir einfach ein bisschen zu brav. Zu langweilig. Zu nichtssagend. Es fehlte etwas Feuer. Ich habe aber die Vermutung und die Hoffnung, dass da noch etwas Großes, etwas Gewaltiges auf mich zu kommt. Denn im Buch enthalten war die Novelle DESTROY ME, die aus der Sicht einer anderen Person erzählt. Und diese Novelle hat das bestätigt, denn diese paar Seiten waren groß und wichtig und so unfassbar gut. Ich glaube, ich werde sie lieben. Die Reihe. Auch wenn es ein bisschen dauert.
