Meet the Warrior Cats in this bestselling children's fantasy series of animal tales

The second of six titles, set in a thrilling world of wild cat clans. Firepaw, the warrior brave, is now Fireheart, warrior cat. Fireheart finds new danger lurking in the woods as the chill of winter sets in. This new series will have particular appeal for fans of Brian Jacques' Redwall series.

The second adventure in the awesome WARRIOR CATS series.
"The clouds are stained with blood!" rasped Barkface. "It is a sign from our ancestors. This day shall bring an unnecessary death."
All-out war between the Clans seems inevitable, but illness and tragic accidents weaken ThunderClan. Firepaw the apprentice is now Fireheart, ThunderClan warrior, but he suspects that some cats may not be as loyal as they appear. As the chill of winter sets in, tensions build to an explosive climax.
"The best series ever!" ***** Amazon website

Portrait

Erin Hunter

Erin Hunter is actually three people! She is experienced children's book writers Kate Cary, Cherith Baldry and Victoria Holmes who all live in the UK. Vicky comes up with the story ideas and makes sure the books stay consistent and Kate and Cherith take it in turns to write the books. They came up with the single name, Erin Hunter, to avoid confusing their readers by having books from the same series in different places on the bookshelf.

Pressestimmen

Warriors: Into The Wild is the best book I've read in ages. It's really exciting and it's got lots of humour too! Even better than Brian Jaques' Redwall. I can't wait for the next one!

John Wood (age 12)

"Characters remain true to their feline natures, adding to the plausibility of events in this tension-filled story. Readers will be happy to learn that another episode is in the works" Booklist
